It seems that all the backlash following his sexist and misogynist comments on 'Koffee With Karan' has shook Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya. After witnessing his views become a massive controversy, Pandya has apologised on two different occasions, once through Twitter, and the other time in an official statement as part of his response to BCCI.

But now, it seems, the all-rounder has issued personal apologies to former Indian skipper MS Dhoni and Indian head coach Ravi Shastri, if reports are to believed. It is stated reported by Mumbai Mirror that Pandya has also expressed regret over his action and spoken with his family, including his brother and national teammate Krunal Pandya.

In the recent episode of the show hosted by Bollywood director, producer Karan Johar, Pandya featured along with his teammate KL Rahul. During the show, both the players, especially Pandya, made some unnecessary remarks, which were sexist in nature. What followed was a massive protest on social media, with users taking the two individuals to the sword.

Upon realizing his mistake, Pandya took to Twitter and issued an apology stating he got carried away during the show and hadn't meant to disrespect any individual's sentiments.

"After reflecting on my comments on Koffee With Karan, I would like to apologise to everyone concerned who I may have hurt in any way. Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. In no way did I mean to disrespect or hurt anyone's sentiments. Respect," his statement read.

But by the time of him correcting his error, the damage was done, and BCCI stepped into this matter on Wednesday and issued show cause notices to both the players while demanding response from them within 24 hours.

On Thursday, Pandya responded and was once again apologetic for his comments. While expressing "sincere regret", the all-rounder assured that such an incident would never be repeated in the future.

"As you are aware, I made an appearance on the chat show where I have made certain statements without realizing that these could be disrespectful and offend sensitivities of viewers for which I am sincerely regretful," Pandya said in an official statement.
