If Hardik Pandya thought that he has left the whole Koffee With Karan controversy behind him, and that people have forgotten it, then he is totally wrong!

The Indian all-rounder, who received flak and backlash on social media for his sexist comments on the reality show, returned to cricketing action in the middle of the ODI series against New Zealand after the CoA provisionally lifted his suspension.

Since then, the 25-year-old has let batting, bowling and fielding do the talking. But on Wednesday, little did he know that an Instagram post of his will see him getting brutally trolled.

Hardik took to the social media app to post an image in which he was chilling with his national teammates in New Zealand. He captioned the post, "Some food and lots of laugh 😂"

Hardik, along with KL Rahul, was embroiled in a massive controversy after appearing in an episode of Koffee With Karan. The two players had made some unpleasent comments during their interaction with Karan Johar, which drew them the ire of social media.

Despite accepting their mistakes and issuing apologies, the duo were suspended by the CoA during India's tour of Australia, and called back to India with immediate effect.

For a brief period, it was expected that they will be given a stringent punishment, which could also mean them missing from the upcoming World Cup.
