The 'babysitting' saga, which began with the funny banter between Australian skipper Tim Paine and Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant during the Boxing Day Test in Melborune, just doesn't seem to end.

No one would have in their wild imaginations predicted that Paine asking Pant to babysit his kids while he is away would become a reality. The banter went so far that Paine's wife Bonnie Paine also got involved. And now, she has taken it one step forward and just added to the banter.

Days after she posed with Pant holding her kids, Mrs. Paine has taken to Instagram to ask if the Indian wicketkeeper would be free enough to babysit her young ones till the time she does her unpacking.

Earlier during the meeting of the players of the two teams with Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Bonne Paine clicked a photo with Pant at the location, and captioned it 'Best Babysitter'.

The whole 'babysitting' saga began during the third Test between Australia and India in Melbourne. During India's second innings, when Rishabh Pant came out to bat, Australian skipper Tim Paine decided to have a bit of fun with the youngster. In reference to the inclusion of MS Dhoni in India's ODI squad, which saw Pant being dropped, Paine took the opportunity to have a go at the batsman.

"Tell you what big MS is back in the one day squad. Should get this bloke down to Hurricanes. They need a batter. Fancy that extend your Aussie holiday, beautiful town Hobart too... get him a water front apartment," he said before adding, "Have him over for dinner. Do you babysit? I can take my wife to the movies while you watch the kids."

It didn't just end there. Bharat Army, the famous group of Indian supporters, coined a song using the 'babysit' term. On Day Two of the fourth Test in Sydney, after Pant reached his century, the Bharat Army came up with a chant whose lyrics read, "We've got Pant. Rishab Pant. I just don't think you'll understand. He'll hit you for a six. He'll babysit your kids. We've got Rishab Pant."
