ICC still mum on game-changing April Fool's day announcement, Michael Vaughan crosses his fingers

Cricket fans have been left confused after the governing body of world Cricket, the International Cricket Council (ICC), came up with new strategies to generate interest in the oldest format of the game which is Test Cricket. On April 1, ICC had decided that the gentleman's game will undergo a lot of innovations which involve applying both numbers and Instagram handles to kits from the beginning of the World Test Championship, replacing the traditional coin system with a fan poll on social media to decide which team will bat or bowl first, Test players can play in shorts should the temperature reach over 35 degrees Celsius, broadcasters will have the option to position commentators on the field of play behind the slips cordon and other interesting rules like double wicket play and doubling the count of runs in the evening session of Day/Night Tests.

However, former England captain Michael Vaughan had doubts about whether it was an 'April Fool' joke. At the same time he was also of the opinion that these rules are indeed needed in Test Cricket. He took to Twitter to express his opinions. 

Netizens did not hesitate in taking a dig at Vaughan.
