Iceland Cricket has been entertaining its fans by taking a dig at its superior and well-established cricket boards. It all started during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 which was held earlier this year when they had trolled England and ECB for hosting the tournament as some matches were washed out due to heavy rains. They had also trolled the Pakistan team and Ambati Rayudu and now, they have come forward to troll the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Iceland Cricket trolls BCCI

Iceland Cricket had recently trolled BCCI for posting a video of Rohit Sharma's incredible innings from the first Test match against South Africa at Vizag which India had won by a comprehensive 203 runs. The 'Hitman' had scored centuries in both innings of that Test match (176 in the first innings & 127 in the second). In case you're wondering why Iceland Cricket has trolled BCCI on Rohit Sharma's stellar knock then here is what you need to know. It so happened that the video which was posted by BCCI had the South African players exchanging handshakes with Rohit Sharma instead of the highlights of his batting. Therefore, it tempted Iceland Cricket to take a dig at them.

'There is a lot to learn from Rohit': Pujara

Cheteshwar Pujara who was involved in a 169-run stand with Rohit Sharma in the second innings of the Vizag Test was full of praises for the 'Hitman' during a press conference after the end of play of Day 4.

"As a Test batsman who wants to improve his ODI and T20 cricket, obviously there is a lot to learn from him especially when it comes to hitting the ball out of the park which I obviously admire and I will obviously have a chat with him when I am playing the shorter format", said Pujara.

India win the Test series

After a comprehensive win at Vizag, Team India handed the Proteas an innings defeat at Pune in the second Test match to win the three-match Test series 2-0. By the virtue of this win, India continues to be at the summit of the ICC World Test Championship points table. The top-ranked Test side led by Virat Kohli remains undisputed in the ranking with 200 points from four matches. No other team is even close as New Zealand and Sri Lanka with 60 points each occupy the second and third positions respectively.
