Following their sensational tour of Australia, in which they completed a Test-ODI double over the hosts, the Indian cricket team continued their unbelievable form with an easy eight-wicket win over New Zealand in the first of the five-ODI series in Napier.

The mood is buoyant in the Indian camp, and it was pretty evident in the pictures on social media during their trip to Tauranga for the second ODI. One of the star player in the first match, Kuldeep Yadav, shared pictures of the Men in Blue as they made their way for Mount Maunganui.

While all the individuals in the photos looked happy, Indian wicketkeeper MS Dhoni and Kuldeep Yadav caught the eye of all. The duo looked dashing as they wore sunglasses and posed for pictures.

The Indian cricket team are on a high following their success in Napier, which also was Men in Blue's first win over Kiwis in New Zealand after 10 years. Spearheaded by some terrific pace and spin bowling, Virat Kohli and co. took a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

India was asked to bowl first by Kane Williamson, and the visitors made sure that they left a mark in the very first match of the tour. Spearheaded by Mohammed Shami and the spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav, India bowled out the Kiwis for a mere 157.

Chasing a mere 158, India started brilliantly with their openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan weathering the early storm and taking them to safety. Despite Rohit's dismissal, the Men in Blue carried on, with Dhawan and Kohli looking in sublime form.

The duo put up 91-runs for the second wicket in partnership which had the mixture of aggression and caution. It seemed the two will take their team home, but it wasn't to be, as Kohli was dismissed 24 runs still needed. Though, Dhawan and Ambati Rayudu made easy task of the remaining target and confirmed an early lead for India in the series.
