India have just completed a series whitewash at Ranchi by getting South Africa all out at a paltry 133. India have now closed out the series, 3-0, in what is their 11th consecutive home series win. Virat Kohli's men outperformed the Proteas on all fronts and will definitely make the visitors rethink their strategy in the Indian subcontinent.

Team India are currently No.1 in the ICC World Test Championship Rankings. The Indian team sits at 240 points while the second team, New Zealand, are all the way back at 60. The South Africa Tour of India was the perfect depiction of how lethal the Indian side can be, especially at home. Double centuries from Mayank Agarwal, Virat Kohli, and debutant Test opener Rohit Sharma only made the immense talent of the Indian side more evident. Rohit Sharma led the batting charts with 529 runs in just three matches with 19 sixes, one double century, and two centuries.

In the bowling department, Ravichandran Ashwin made a comeback and led the series with his impressive 15 wickets. Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja followed with 13 wickets, each. Umesh Yadav was another vital option for Virat and the pacer did not disappoint with his 11 wickets.
