Man of the Match Rohit Sharma(140) displayed a stellar performance as he top-scored for the team with the bat along with skipper Virat Kohli(77).

Suresh Prabhu admired the determination of Team India to grab a win against Pakistan and push their way further up the tournament. He said that the clinical performance by India demonstrates the quality, talent, strong will, and superior mind and that the champions were leading the way with all players contributing to the victory.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also took to Twitter to congratulate Team India on their win against Pakistan, extending their undefeated streak. He appreciated India's approach to the game and praised them for playing a great game of cricket that made all of India proud.
Rohit Sharma led the Indian attack with the bat with an onslaught of 140 in 113 balls along with a solid opening partnership with KL Rahul(57). Skipper Virat Kohli got out on 77 in a rather controversial way as replays suggested that the ball did not edge the bat.
India also suffered another injury scare as pace spearhead Bhuvaneshwar Kumar limped out after bowling 2.4 overs due to a hamstring niggle. In the absence of Kumar, Hardik Pandya took charge of the ball, proving his worth as an all-rounder with an economical 44 for 2 in eight overs along with chinaman Kuldeep Yadav's 2 for 32 and Vijay Shankar's 2 for 22.
Fakhar Zaman(62) and Babar Azam(48) top-scored for Pakistan but were dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav in subsequent overs. Mohammed Amir picked up three scalps for 47 runs in 10 overs as the rest of the bowlers were hit around the park by "Hitman" Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
India has played four matches until June 17, with three victories and one no result - coming from the game with New Zealand that was washed out without a ball being bowled. They play their next match against Afghanistan on June 22 at the Rose Bowl stadium in Southampton.
