The two youngsters were pitted against each other heading into this clash. Pant's explosive batting has helped Delhi in getting quick runs at a brisk rate while Rashid's tricky googlies have given SRH a lot of breakthroughs on many occasions. Sunrisers Hyderabad registered their first away win as they overcame hosts Delhi Capitals by five wickets. By the virtue of this win, SRH registered their third consecutive win and moved to the summit of the points table. They put up a splendid bowling performance as well as fielding performances which restricted Delhi to 129/8 in their 20 overs.

In reply, SRH got off to a brisk start thanks to Jonny Bairstow's quickfire 28-ball 48 at a strike rate of 171.43. Bairstow put on 61 runs with David Warner for the opening partnership. In the end, Yusuf Pathan and Mohammad Nabi got SRH home.
