Three-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians will be locking horns with Delhi Capitals at the Wankhede stadium on Sunday evening. While the hosts Mumbai will be looking to start their campaign on a winning note at their fortress, the Delhi outfit will also be looking to make an impressive start in their new colours.

At the same time, Mumbai will be looking to seek retribution for their last season's loss against Delhi which ended their dreams of retaining their title.

Ahead of this crunching contest, here are the 5 things to look out for:

Equal head-to-head records: Delhi and Mumbai have faced off against each other in 22 games with both teams winning 11 games each. Therefore, both teams will be eager for a win at the Wankhede in order to have a slighter advantage over the other team.

Rohit-Dhawan rivalry: Dashing Indian opening batsmen Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan will be seen in action at the Wankhede stadium. They will not be playing together, but will be playing against each other. It will be interesting to see which of the two will usurp each other in this contest.

Yuvraj Singh's presence:  Veteran Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh was bought by the Mumbai Indians earlier in the auctions. He will be looking to make his presence felt at the Wankhede stadium, where he was adjudged 'Player of the Tournament' in the 2011 World Cup.

The winner of two World Cups had represented Kings XI Punjab last season where he could hardly make an impact, managing to score only 65 runs from eight matches. The southpaw will be hungry for success this season and at the same time will be hoping for a splendid performance in order to resurrect his cricketing career.

Iyer and Pant combination: Delhi Capitals will be hoping for their two young batsmen to fire all cylinders at the Wankhede stadium. Skipper Shreyas Iyer and keeper-batsman Rishabh Pant have the ability to play a good knock and both are also handy in getting some quick runs for their team.

Jasprit Bumrah: If Delhi wants to get a win under their belt, they will need to tackle Jasprit Bumrah, who is the best limited-overs bowler going around. He is a death over specialist with his ability to bowl yorkers and slower balls which can keep the batsmen on their toes while they try to accelerate.
