Rajasthan Royals will look to do the double over Mumbai Indians at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday. Mumbai will be heading into this contest after a convincing 40 run win over Delhi Capitals on Thursday while the Royals will be eager to overcome their close 12-run defeat against Kings XI Punjab on Tuesday. At the same time, Mumbai will also look to avenge their reverse fixture loss and carry on their winning momentum.

Here are a few things to look out for before the big game.

1. Can Steve Smith's captaincy revive Rajasthan's hopes?: Ahead of Rajasthan's home game against Mumbai, Ajinkya Rahane was removed as skipper and was replaced by Steve Smith. The Royals will be hoping that Smith will lead from the front and bring their campaign back on track. Smith had a great season in 2017 where he had led the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant to the final.

2. Kieron Pollard's impactful knock: Mumbai will be expecting some fireworks from the big West Indian all-rounder Kieron Pollard. His blistering innings in the middle and death overs will be essential for Mumbai to put up a big score on the board.

3. Will Buttler's absence hurt Rajasthan?: The Royals will be looking to overcome the absence of one of their star players Jos Buttler who has gone back home for the birth of his first child. The Englishman has made a good impression this season. He was the star of Rajasthan's reverse fixture win over Mumbai where he had scored a 43-ball 89 at a strike rate of 206.98. He has so far scored 311 runs in eight games at a strike rate of 151.70 including three half-centuries.

4. Head-to-head records: Mumbai hold a slight edge over the Royals in terms of overall records. In the 22 games that both teams have played, Mumbai have won 11 games while RR have won on 10 occasions. However, the Royals have 5-2 home advantage over Mumbai in the seven games that have been played.

5. Jasprit Bumrah's spell: Rajasthan batsmen will need to play Bumrah's spell cautiously as the 25-year old fast bowler is rediscovered his rhythm. He picked 2-18 against Delhi Capitals in the last game at an economy of 4.50.
