Mumbai Indians did not take too long to share this pic on Twitter, and captioned it perfectly.

Sachin has been associated with Mumbai since the inception of IPL in 2008. Jayawardene, who had scored a brilliant century at the same venue (Wankhede) in the 2011 World Cup final, was roped in by the Mumbai franchise a couple of seasons ago in 2017.

Meanwhile, Ganguly was just recently appointed as the Delhi team's advisor. The trio have won a lot of laurels while representing their respective countries at the international level during their playing days. They will now be hoping to help their franchises with the wealth of experience that they have.

Mumbai Indians will be hoping to win their record fourth IPL title this season, while Delhi will be eyeing their maiden IPL title. They have never been in an IPL summit clash before and had last made the playoffs way back in the 2012 season.

They have been roping in a lot of match winners in their side since the past few seasons but to no avail. This year, they have come out with not only new players, but have changed the name of their team as well. At the same time, they will be hoping for a revival in their fortunes as well.
