The defending champions Chennai Super Kings will look to get back to winning ways when they host Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Tuesday. CSK will be heading into this contest after two consecutive losses while SRH will be confident after registering two straight wins. Chennai will not only look to move to the top of the points table but they will also be eager to avenge their reverse fixture loss against the 'Orange Army'.

Here are some key things to watch out for as both teams face each other in the 'Southern Derby'.

1. Will Dhoni get support from the top order?: CSK skipper MS Dhoni has been winning the matches for his team with the bat on almost all occasions. Even in the last game against RCB, Dhoni played a blistering knock of a 48-ball 84 after CSK were reeling at 28/4. He almost won the game for CSK single-handedly but a last ball miss and Shardul Thakur's run out ensured that the defending champions fell short by 1 run. Dhoni will be hoping that the top order lays a good foundation so that he can play his shots without too much pressure.

2. Will Kane Williamson's absence affect SRH?: Kane Williamson had led the 'Orange Army' to consecutive victories in the last two games. However, the New Zealand skipper will not be available for the clash against CSK as he has returned back home due to some personal reasons which means that Bhuvneshwar Kumar might have to lead the 2016 champions once again.

3. Head-to-head records: Chennai Super Kings have an edge over Sunrisers Hyderabad in terms of overall head-to-head records. In the 12 matches that both sides have played, CSK have won nine of them while CSK have only managed three wins. Chennai also have 2-0 win record while playing at home against Hyderabad.

4. Warner-Bairstow's solid foundation: SRH will be hoping for a good start from their two explosive openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow. Both Warner and Bairstow are there in the 'Orange Cap' list and their opening platform has helped SRH in getting runs at a brisk rate on many occasions. Even in the reverse fixture against CSK, the duo had put on 66 runs for the opening wicket. The two had registered their fourth opening partnership of this season in the last game against Kolkata Knight Riders. They added 131 runs.

5. Can Khaleel Ahmed repeat his Kolkata heroics?: SRH will be hoping for yet another outstanding performance from young Khaleel Ahmed. The 21-year old medium pacer took 3/33 in his four overs at an economy of 8.25. He was adjudged 'Man of the Match' for his impressive bowling spell.
