The Indian cricket team's pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, who was recently given the tag of the most complete bowler by Virat Kohli, has suffered a slight stress fracture in his lower back and has been asked to sit out of the 3 test match series to be played against South Africa. The injury came to light during a usual radiological check-up.
In response to not being able to part of the test series, the Indian pacer posted a tweet thanking everyone for their wishes and said that he would be back on the field soon enough.
Injuries are part & parcel of the sport. Thank you for all your recovery wishes. My head is held high & I am aiming for a comeback that’s stronger than the setback.🦁 pic.twitter.com/E0JG1COHrz— Jasprit Bumrah (@Jaspritbumrah93) September 25, 2019
A lot of comments started to pour in response to the tweet wherein almost everyone wished the cricketer a speedy recovery.
One user wished Bumrah towards a swift recovery.

One Twitter user wished for the pacer to come back fitter and in a much better condition.
Another Twitter user stated that the World Test Championship could not be risked and hoped to see Bumrah back on the field in the second or the third test match with a few other people professing their love for the cricketer and one person even calling him the backbone of the Indian cricket team.
India's frontline pacer will undergo treatment at the NCA also known as the National Cricket Academy and will be under watchful eyes of the BCCI medical team. The bowler had also been rested for the T20 series against the South Africans.
According to reports, the injury is not that serious but the board members are in no mood to risk playing him in the upcoming matches. In addition to this, it had been stated that there was a little bit of stress in the lower back region and it was imperative to evaluate the injury to chalk out a further plan of action in order to assess any future implications as Bumrah always put pressure on his front foot that in turn put pressure on his lower vertebrae.
The Indian captain, Virat Kohli, and coach, Ravi Shashtri, have taken Bumrah's injury into consideration and have often been found to rest him for the limited over matches against teams such as New Zealand, Australia, etc. The bowler's absence would be a major set back for the Indian Cricket team. Umesh Yadav has been named as Bumrah's replacement.
