KL Rahul had a good season at the crease in the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier this year and followed it up with some good knocks in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 especially against arch-rivals, Pakistan. However, it seems that his impressive run with the bat ended after that failure in the all-important semi-final against New Zealand where he could only manage 1 run as the Men In Blue were reduced to 4-3 and were eventually knocked out. In the following series against West Indies, he did not have a good outing either. KL Rahul failed in the two-match Test series. Rahul's failures resulted in him being dropped for the three-match T20I series against South Africa. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma will be opening in Tests instead of Rahul in the upcoming three-match series. However, it seems that despite going through a lean patch in his career, Rahul is trying to have fun whenever he gets a chance to do so.
