'Go beyond - with passion and positivity' - that's the message from former Indian cricketer Krishnamachari Srikkanth to the youth of the nation. Talking to Republic TV, Kris Srikkanth said that it was important for the youngsters to decide what they want in life and said that he always believes that one should be an achiever. Former World Cup-winning cricketer Kris Srikkanth said that self-belief and positivity were essential for going beyond and achieving one's dreams. The former Indian opener also voiced his views about the Indian team's performance, Virat Kohli's captaincy and MS Dhoni's future, as he spoke exclusively to Republic TV.
"If you want to be an achiever, the first thing is your attitude has to be really good and should be positive. There will be a lot of challenges, criticisms and ups and downs and one should never give up. You should go past all that. The whole idea is to go beyond all this and the way to do this is to be passionate about it and be positive about it", Kris Srikkanth said.

After his heroics at Vizag, Rohit jumped to 17th position in the ICC Test Player Rankings which is his career-best ranking in the game's longest format. The 'Hitman' gained a massive 36 slots. Sharma has five tons in 28 Tests.
