Krunal Pandya is an all-rounder and brother of Hardik Pandya. He is the son of Mr. Himanshu Pandya from the city of Vadodara. Both the brothers used to go to the cricket carnival in the town with their father and loved cricket. As both of them liked the game, they started to train at Kiran More's academy in Vadodara city. Krunal and Hardik both are all-rounders and enjoy playing the sport. Krunal is a low over specialist and has played 4 A list games and also has played 15 T20’s for Baroda. He has played in the IPL for the four-times champion Mumbai Indians.  

Krunal Pandya's Performance in the second T20

Team India won the toss and decided to field and chase the target. South Africa scored 149 runs and lost five wickets in their 20 overs. The key run-scorers for South Africa were Quinton de Kock & Temba Bavuma who hit 52 and 49 runs respectively. Indian bowler Deepak Chahar took 2 crucial wickets of Reeza Hendricks and Temba Bavuma. Krunal played the second T20 in-between India & South Africa. In the match, Krunal Pandya bowled the 14th over of the match. He gave away a total of seven runs in his over. He is active on the field and also has good fielding skills. While it came to India’s batting he did not get a chance to bat for as the Indian top-order chased the score. India won the match by seven wickets and an over to spare. We are one point ahead in the three-match T20I series.

Krunal's return to cricket

Krunal did not play cricket for a long time as he faced an injury in 2015. He had labral tear injury in his shoulder, for which he had to go through a surgery. But he has really good figures in his T20 career. Here are his career records. He has played 15 T20 matches out of which he got seven chances to bat. With a strike rate of 132.47, he scored 102 runs and has bowled for all 15 innings. With an economy of 7.59, he has given 449 runs and has taken 14 wickets. Now that he has recovered we will see more of him in future games. He will be a crucial part of Team India going ahead. We will see him more in limted over matches as he specialises in the format and can become a key player for India someday.
