MS Dhoni’s fan following is concentrated more in some places than the others. One is obviously his hometown Ranchi; the second is Chennai, where the ‘Thala’s craze is quite close to that of megastar Rajinikanth. But ultimately, he is the nation’s darling and there are die-hard fans galore of the cricket superstar across the country. One such person is a man from Kolkata, who has not just named his restaurant as the ‘MS Dhoni hotel’, but also treats similar fans of the veteran to meals without charging a penny.

As per reports, Shambhu Bose, a 32-year-old from Alipurduar district in West Bengal, is that selfless person who likes to shower affection on people with whom he shares common ground, the love for ‘Mahi.’

Bose shared how he loved the cricketer since he was very young for Dhoni's game that he termed as what ‘legends are made up of’. The other thing that he was extremely fond of was his long hair, something that had become a style statement then.

When it’s the ‘MS Dhoni Hotel’, naturally the walls are all decked up with posters of the swashbuckling cricketer. Even before he set this hotel, the tea stall he used to run had a similar ambience, though on a small level.  It’s not any different at his home.

Shambhu called the wicketkeeper-batsman his ‘inspiration’ and added hat he had learnt a lot from the cricket star.

Bose said that he doesn’t have the money to watch the matches, but it’s his dream to meet Dhoni someday. He feels such a moment might never happen, but he’d definitely invite him to his hotel and serve him ‘bhat macch’ if his dream does come true some day.

The fondest Dhoni memory for Bose is that epic six that the then captain hit to win India’s second World Cup trophy at the Wankhede Stadium in 2011.  He remembers crying that night as he witnessed the moment on a TV near his tea stall.

With India starting off their quest for a third World Cup title well, he hopes a similar moment is definitely on the cards.
