Since his retirement, Vaughan has been heavily involved with broadcasting and has also been very active on his social media handles. Calls for Rohit Sharma's selection in Test matches

In what was a very commendable cricketing observation, Vaughan pointed out Rohit Sharma's absence in India's Test line-up after his sublime form in the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup. His wishes came true in October 2019 when Rohit was selected to open the batting for India in Test match cricket. 500 runs and a series whitewash later, it is safe to say that Vaughan was onto something.

Indulges in banter with Sanjay Manjrekar

During the World Cup, former India batsman and now commentator Sanjay Manjrekar called Ravindra Jadeja a 'bits and pieces' cricketer and questioned his presence in India's playing XI. Manjrekar later proceeded to add Jadeja in his predicted playing XI. Vaughan was not slow in pointing out the irony.

After Ravindra Jadeja single-handedly almost won India the World Cup semi-finals, Vaughan made this tweet referring to Sanjay Manjrekar's comments on the all-rounder yet again.

Declares Indian Test Pitches as boring

During India's dominant white-wash of the South Africans in October 2019, Vaughan called out the predictable nature of Indian pitches and the support that they provide the batsman with. Indian fans took the tweet very personally with many attacking the nature of England pitches which tend to help fast bowling. 

Stands his ground

Even after the heavy flak, his previous tweet received, Michael Vaughan stood his ground as he appreciated Ravindra Jadeja's performance against South Africa. He acknowledged Jadeja's contribution but also added how the game will be similar to the ones before because of the pitch's nature.
