Missed one, bulls-eye on the next: Jadeja's rocket arm finds target yet again

Ravindra Jadeja has been a complete cricketer for India with his excellent all-round skills with the bat, ball and on the field. While the Indian cricket fans know that Jadeja is a handy batsman who can play some important knocks in the middle order and also a left-arm spinner who completes his overs in no time and also provides breakthroughs and the same time, he is also an athletic fielder whose rocket throw makes batsmen think twice before they risk taking a run when the ball is in his hands and that is exactly what had happened during Day 1 of the first Test match.

Ravindra Jadeja's rocket-arm 

Bangladeshi tail-ender batsman Taijul Islam decided to challenge Ravindra Jadeja's rocket arm by coming back for a risky second run. However, he paid a huge price by losing his wicket as Jadeja was way too good for him. It happened on the fourth delivery of the 57th over which was bowled by Umesh Yadav where Islam had flicked the ball and called for two straightaway. Jadeja ran towards his right and quickly covered the ground after which he threw the ball towards the keeper's end where Saha dislodged the bails instantly. In the previous delivery, there was a rare fielding lapse from Jaddu. When the batsmen were coming back for the second run, he threw the ball which just missed the stumps by a whisker, Unfortunately, there was no one to back his throw as it raced away to the boundary and Bangladesh got six bonus runs as a result.  The video of Jadeja's athletic piece of fielding was posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their official Twitter handle.

India skittle Bangladesh for 150

Bangladesh skipper Mominul Haque won the toss and decided to bat first. However, the visitors failed to put up a resistance and their innings never really took off as the Indian bowlers picked up wickets at regular intervals. Mushfiqur Rahim (43) and Mominul Haque (37) were the only Bangladeshi batsmen who managed to hang around for a while but could not convert their starts into big scores as they were bundled out for a paltry score of 150 in the 59th over. For India, Mohammed Shami was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/27 at an economy rate of 2.08 including five maidens whereas, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin picked up two wickets each.
