MS Dhoni most admired man in India after PM Narendra Modi, says survey

Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni recently defeated Virat Kohli and even Sachin Tendulkar to become the second most admired men in India after PM Narendra Modi.

Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni recently defeated Virat Kohli and even Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar to become the second most admired man in India. The survey conducted by YouGov, reveals that Dhoni is right next to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the ‘Most Admired Men in India’ list. To create the list of most admired people in the world, YouGov conducted a sample survey with around 42,000 people from more than 40 different countries. While Modi won the title of 'most admired man' in the county, boxer Marry Kom was rated as the 'most admired woman' in India.

The Most Admired Men in India: Scoreboard

According to the survey, PM Modi acquired the admiration score of 15.66 per cent, followed by MS Dhoni with a score of 8.58 per cent. Ratan Tata, Barack Obama and Bill Gates are next in the list of most admired men India with a score of 8.0 per cent, 7.36 per cent and 6.96 per cent respectively. Former Indian cricketer Tendulkar is in the sixth position with 5.81 per cent admiration score, and Kohli is in seventh place with a 4.46 per cent score. Mary Kom, on the other hand, is the only women sports personality to make it to the list with an admiration score of 10.36 per cent.

International sports personalities like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are also included in the list with 2.95 per cent and 2.32 percent respectively. The report also said, "the top five most admired men in the world remain unchanged since last year. Former US president Barack Obama comes in second, and the third to fifth places are all occupied by Chinese figures. Actor Jackie Chan in third, president Xi Jinping in fourth and businessman Jack Ma in fifth."
