  • As for Umesh Yadav, he conceded 35 in his four overs, which included 14 in the final over

In one of the closest T20I games in the recent times, Australia beat India by three wickets on the very last ball of the match in the first T20I at Visakhapatnam.

The hosts had merely made 126 in the first innings, and towards the end of the match, it seemed Virat Kohli's men will successfully defend the small total. But, there was no fairytale ending for India as the Aussies slammed the winning runs in the final delivery to take a 1-0 series lead.

While the Indian fans were happy with their side's fighting spirit, a number of them couldn't help but take a dig at MS Dhoni and Umesh Yadav. The duo, during the course of two innings, struggled with bat and ball respectively.

Dhoni scored 29 of 37 balls at a strike rate of 78, which meant India could only end up with 126. As for Umesh, he conceded 35 in his four overs, which included 14 in the final over as the Aussies ended as the victorious team.

Twitter users were very disappointment with the performance of the two players, and slammed them on the social media website.

In the first match of the series, Kohli and his men were sent to bat first by Aaron Finch. Coming on back of some wonderful form, the Men in Blue were brought to their knees by some wonderful bowling by the Aussies.

Barring a 36-ball 50 by KL Rahul and a quickfire 24 by skipper Kohli, the other Indian batters struggled, including Dhoni, as India ended up with a score just in excess of 120.

In reply, Australia look on course for a win much thanks to a 84-run partnership between Darcy Short and Glenn Maxwell. But their respective dismissals meant Australian wickets fell like a pack of cards. Yet, in the end, Aussies ended up on the right side by somehow managing 14 runs in the final over.
