After enjoying a dream run by topping the league table, Team India's ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 came to an end after their 18-run loss against New Zealand at the Old Trafford in Manchester on Wednesday. The Men In Blue were in all sorts of trouble after they were reduced to 5/3 and then 92/6 before a 116-run seventh wicket stand between Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni almost took them over the line.
Even though the Virat Kohli-led side did not have a fairytale ending, one of their star pacers Jasprit Bumrah had an outstanding campaign where he was among the wickets as well as bowled some economical spells. The 25-year-old is India's highest and the fourth highest wicket-taker in the ongoing quadrennial event. He finished with 18 wickets in nine games.
Bumrah is known for his unique kind of bowling action. There was a little fan across the border who was seen imitating the speedster's bowling action some time back and now, it seems that people from all ages want to give a try to bowl in this versatile action. Recently, an elderly woman was seen imitating the pacer's bowling action which she managed to almost execute perfectly.
The video of the elderly lady trying to bowl like Bumrah was shared on social media which has become viral. Watch it right here.
As soon as the young pacer came to know about it, even he took to Twitter and wrote 'This made my day'.
Even the netizens were really impressed by the senior citizen's spirit. Here's what they had to say.
