Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar was inducted into the International Cricket Council (ICC) Hall of Fame. This was confirmed by the governing body of world cricket on their official Twitter handle.
Sachin was not the only one, he was also joined by two other cricketers. One of them is former South African fast bowler Allan Donald while the other inductee is Australia's two-time World Cup-winning women's cricketer Cathryn Fitzpatrick.
The Little Master was congratulated by one and all after hearing the news. This included the fans, the cricketing fraternity, and celebrities. Among them was Sachin's former Indian team-mate Ravichandran Ashwin.
Ashwin took to Twitter and congratulated the legendary batsman for being inducted into the Hall of fame. At the same time, the veteran off-spinner also admitted that he was a bit late. The 32-year-old then went on to say that Tendulkar was the reason for the Tamil Nadu all-rounder in picking up a bat to play the game before calling Sachin a proud hall of famer.
