New Zealand vs England 2019: Team News

England's middle-order batsmen have let the team down in the absence of some senior players. Newly appointed T20I vice-captain Sam Billings and all-rounder Sam Curran have been big failures in the previous two matches. Billings scored 8 and 1 runs in the second and third T20Is respectively. On the other hand, Sam Curran scored 9 and 2 runs across the two matches.

Meanwhile, New Zealand batsmen Ross Taylor and James Neesham have been enjoying sizeable returns. The biggest positive for the Black Caps has been the form of all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme after being promoted to bat at No.4. de Grandhomme has scored a total of 102 runs so far in the ongoing series at a strike rate of 167.21.

As for bowling, England bowlers Pat Brown and Saqib Mahmood proved to be expensive for them. The visitors will consider bringing back Chris Jordan, who was rested for the previous game. On the other hand, New Zealand fast bowlers have been in a good form in death overs. Trent Boult will probably join them after being absent from the first three games.
