India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who was down with a lower back injury that resurfaced, has successfully undergone surgery and is set to make his comeback in no time. Hardik Pandya took to Instagram to share a picture of his recovery post his surgery and said that he would be back in action in no time as the surgery was successful. Critical surgeries that Indian Cricketers have undergone in the past

1. Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma underwent surgery in London to treat the thigh injury that he sustained during the final ODI against New Zealand back in 2016. He had been effectively been ruled out of the then on-going England series. He underwent surgery on his right upper quadriceps tendon following a recovery period of three months.

2. Suresh Raina

In a recent case, Suresh Raina underwent knee surgery in August 2019 in Amsterdam which had ruled him out of the domestic season. The left-handed batsmen had a niggling knee problem since the beginning of the year. The required almost two months of intensive recovery.

3. Sachin Tendulkar

Back in 2016, Sachin Tendulkar also took to Instagram and shared a picture captioned, "Some injuries trouble even after retirement, but I will be back very soon doing the things I enjoy. 4. Kedar Jadhav

India all-rounder Kedar Jadhav sustained a shoulder injury during the clash between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019. Jadhav has had a history of injuries. The player was ruled out of the previous year's IPL due to a hamstring tear. India cricketer Kedar Jadhav had undergone surgery post his injury.
