Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been in a bit controversy lately, after a video emerged him of asking a cricket fan to 'live outside India' after his revelation that he 'prefers watching England and Australian batsman more than Indians'.
Now, another video has emerged from his interaction with the cricket fans for the Virat Kohli Offical App. Though, this one doesn't involve any controversy, and instead, sees Kohli responding in a witty manner.
After a fan stated that the Indian skipper behaved like a 'clown' during India's tour of South Africa, Kohli replied by saying, "When was this? Was this during South Africa? Was this when we were in South Africa? Paul Harris, ye kon hai (Who is he)? He looks like a cricketer."
This time, Kohli wouldn't need to explain his comments, unlike the last time, when he came out on Twitter to clear his views. During his Q&A session, when a random individual questioned Kohli's batting ability and mentioned preferring to watch other countries batsman, the Indian skipper got a bit angry.
The individual's question to Kohli read, "Over-rated batsman and personally I see nothing special in his batting. I enjoy watching English and Australian batsmen more than these Indians."
The Indian skipper, in his own style, replied by stating that any individual who doesn't like his own country's team should leave the country and reside somewhere else.
"Okay, I don’t think you should live in India, then you should go and live somewhere else no. Why are you living in our country and loving other countries? But I don’t mind you not liking me, but I don’t think you should live in our country and like other things. Get your priorities right," he said.
A couple of days later after the video emerged, Kohli issued a clarification, stating "I guess trolling isn't for me guys, I'll stick to getting trolled! I spoke about how "these Indians" was mentioned in the comment and that's all. I’m all for freedom of choice. Keep it light guys and enjoy the festive season. Love and peace to all."
