Rashid Khan adds Bollywood Tadka to Yusuf Pathan's stunning catch

Rashid Khan has been one of the best spinners not only for his national side Afghanistan but also in world cricket as well. He has bamboozled the best batsmen in world cricket which include the likes of Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and AB de Villiers, etc. Even in IPL, the Afghan all-rounder has made a tremendous impact as well for the Sunrisers Hyderabad ever since he was roped in by the franchise in the 2017 edition. Recently, Khan had come forward to appreciate his SRH team-mate Yusuf Pathan who had taken a brilliant catch in a Syed Mushtaq Ali match.

Rashid's witty response to Yusuf's brilliant catch

It had happened during Baroda's Syed Mushtaq Ali encounter against Goa on Friday. Chasing a target of 150, Goa needed seven runs off eight balls with five wickets in hand. However, Yusuf Pathan decided to make things more interesting on the penultimate ball of the 19th over which was bowled by Rishi Arothe. Just when Goa skipper Darshan Misal seemed to take his team past the finish line, Yusuf did the unthinkable as he took a spectacular one-handed catch at extra-cover much to the delight of the Baroda players. Meanwhile, his younger brother Irfan had posted a video of the catch and lauded his elder sibling by writing that his hard work in pre-season is paying off. However, it was Rashid Khan who stole the show with his cameo appearance by first appreciating his SRH team-mate's stellar catch and then added some Bollywood Tadka to it by mentioning 'Ye Pathan k hath hai thakur'. Goa beat Baroda by 4 wickets

Baroda had got off to a horrendous start after winning the toss and electing to bat first as they were reduced to 13/2. A half-century from Swapnil Singh i.e. a 44-ball 50 and a 21-ball 34 from Deepak Hooda helped them get to a respectable total of 149/9 in their 20 overs. In reply, Aditya Kaushik's solid start of a 31-ball 36 and an unbeaten 49-ball 60 from Suyash Prabhudessai helped Goa overhaul the target in by four wickets with two balls to spare.
