A day after winning India crushed New Zealand by 8 wickets in the series opener in Napier, vice-captain Rohit Sharma seems to be missing his wife after the victory. While away from home at New Zealand, Rohit Sharma shared the sweetest post on his official Instagram handle for wife Ritika Sajdeh.

Sharing an adorable picture with Ritika Sajdeh on Thursday, he wrote, “Miss my baby".

While there were several endearing comments from Rohit Sharma's fans and social media users on the post, there was one comment that grabbed our attention. Team India's leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who is known for cracking up the funny bones with his sense of humour, posted the most unexpectedly hilarious comment on Rohit-Ritika's cute picture.

The wily spinner wrote in the comments section, “I miss myself”.

Rohit Sharma became a proud daddy on December 30 after his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. The first glimpse of their daughter was shared by the Indian batsman on January 3. 

He later posted another picture with his daughter and wife wherein he revealed that his daughter's name - Samaira .

Meanwhile, India won the first match of the ODI series with a convincing victory, thanks to the brilliant platform laid by the bowlers, who dismissed the Black Caps for a mere 157. The star performers were Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami and Yuzvendra Chahal who bagged 4 wickets, 3 wickets and 2 wickets respectively.
