New Zealand all-rounder James Neesham took to Twitter to post a cryptic tweet that left netizens struggling to try and decipher it. The Ashes have already grabbed the eyeballs of many, just two days since the contest began, and has seen it all including a collapse of Australia's batting order to Steve Smith resurrecting the innings with a spell-bound and witty knock of 144 runs off 214 balls to England's comeback with opener Rory burns leading the fightback with an unbeaten 125 runs.
As the Ashes began, comparison statements were passed around on social media and it went past the England-Australia rivalry as people took to compare stars from both the teams to stars from teams around the world. Naturally, given the name he has for himself, Indian skipper Virat Kohli's name was automatically dragged into the discussion.
Kiwi James Neesham shared a tweet that said Rory Burns has more runs in his first Ashes innings than Virat Kohli in his entire Ashes career. The tweet left many confused, as they tried to figure out how the Indian skipper could take part in the Ashes.
