India suffered their first defeat of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against the hosts England at Edgbaston in Birmingham on Sunday. Even though the fans were disappointed with Team India's results on the field, there was a memorable moment off the field which garnered their attention. This moment included Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Google CEO Sundar Pichai together in a single frame.

The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter to share a photo of Sundar Pichai and Sachin Tendulkar at the venue. Sundar Pichai, who was cheering for India, had earlier expressed his desire to watch an India-England clash at the finals of the World Cup at an event organized by the US-India Business Council.

The Little Master later took to Twitter and relived the memories of his interaction with Google's Chief Executive Officer.

It seems that Sachin's caption went down well with the fans. Here's how they reacted.

India lost to England by 31 runs despite Rohit Sharma scoring his third century in the ongoing World Cup, as India failed to chase down the mammoth total of 338. The loss also dented Pakistan's chance of qualifying to the semi-finals leaving them with a slim chance to go past the group stage.

However, the Men In Blue then consolidated their semis spot after a 28-run win over Bangladesh at the same venue on Tuesday.

The Virat Kohli-led side will now be facing Sri Lanka in their final league game at Leeds on Saturday.
