It rained sixes and fours all over Eden Gardens on Friday, when Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fought their way to a thin 10-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the current season of the IPL. Both teams had smashing batting performances with the RCB skipper Virat Kohli trashing a 100 runs in 58 balls and Moeen Ali scoring 66 off 28 balls, setting up a massive target of 213 for the KKR to win. And boy, did they chase!ย The power-packed duo Andre Russell (65 off 25) and Nitish Rana (85 not out off 46) almost made RCB continue their losing streak by smashing 203 runs.

After losing the match a hair-length margin, KKR tweeted encouraging words to their fans saying that they never give up:

Responding to their message, KKR's owner and Bollwood's Baadshah - Shah Rukh Khan took a mild jibe at KKR, asking his team to step up to their star player Andre Rusell's form and raking a few wins instead of sending encouraging messages post a loss.

SRK fans have comforted the star telling him to take a 'picture abhi baaki hai, dost' attitude:

KKR is currently ranked six out of eight and have lost five of their nine matches. Inspite of winning Friday night's match RCB is still languishing at the bottom having lost seven of the 9 matched they have played in this IPL season 2019.
