  • KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan praised the West Indian all--rounder on Twitter for his unbelievable knock

Andre Russell has been entertaining the crowd since KKR's very first game of this edition's IPL. The West Indian all- rounder has been making the bowlers forget their rhythm whenever he is on strike. He once again smashed the bowlers all over the park during KKR's clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders Shah Rukh Khan was so proud of Russell's knock that he took to Twitter to praise the big man.

Russell once again played a superb match-winning unbeaten cameo of a 13-ball 48 at a strike rate of 369.23 which included a boundary and four sixes. In his short 13-ball knock, there were three dot balls. In spite of that, the Caribbean power-hitter took his team past the finish line in the penultimate over.

SRK also posted a pic of Andre Russell in the Baahubali avatar.

Russel was adjudged as 'Man of the Match' for his ruthless knock. This was the Jamaican's third Man of the Match' award. He walked out to bat when KKR needed 67 runs off 26 balls. However, he was on strike only an over after he had come out to the middle and by then RCB were the strong favourites to win the match. However, as soon as he found a bad ball he clobbered it to the stands which provoked the bowlers to think of a different strategy. None of the strategies were effective as Russell toyed around with the bowlers and handed RCB their fifth straight defeat of this season.
