Sunil Gavaskar is known for his contribution to the field of cricket as an ace player and commentator. The legendary player is often regarded as the greatest Test batsman and the best opening batsman the Indian cricket team ever had. He had set a record for the highest Test runs and Test centuries to have been scored by any batsman. Sunil Gavaskar's record of 34 Test centuries was only broken after two decades by Sachin Tendulkar. Coming back to his commentary stint, the legendary batsman entertains the listeners on-air with his sense of humour and that is what he managed to do while commentating during the third T20I between India and South Africa on Sunday

Gavaskar plays KBC on-air
You have heard that right. It happened during the 11th over of the Indian innings. Team India's top-three including the likes of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, and skipper Virat Kohli were back in the dugout and youngsters Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant were out in the centre to stabilise the innings. It was at that moment when a fan poll was announced regarding who should bat for India at number four in T20Is. Sunil Gavaskar and Harsha Bhogle were commentating during that time.
"It's a Kaun Banega Crorepati question", said Gavaskar.
"Aapke pass 4 options hai. Kya Rishabh Pant?, Kya Manish Pandey?, Kya Shreyas Iyer?, Ya KL Rahul?", asked Gavaskar in a funny manner.

Meanwhile, Harsha Bhogle also made his presence felt by imitating Amitabh Bachchan when he told Sunil Gavaskar, "Woh Toh Aapke Dost Karte Hain." The 1983 World Cup-winner then added that it could really be a question for KBC regarding who should bat at Number Four. The video of this amazing on-air segment of Sunil Gavaskar was posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their official Twitter handle.

India falter after winning the toss
Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium which is a batting paradise. However, unlike the last match, he could only manage nine runs in this one as the Indian batsmen failed to post a competitive total as their innings unfolded at 134/9 in their 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan top-scored for the Men In Blue with a quickfire 25-ball 36.
