Sunrisers Hyderabad will be up against a strong Delhi Capitals in the Eliminator at the ACA-VDCA Stadium on Wednesday. Both teams will be looking to register a win and inch a spot closer to the final spot. The winner will meet Chennai Super Kings in the second qualifier for a place in the final while the losing team gets knocked out and will have to be satisfied with a fourth-place finish.

Prior to their knockout clash against Delhi Capitals, the head coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad, Tom Moody came forward and talked about the preparations of the players ahead of the game and also expressed his feelings about SRH being the final team to make it to the knockouts.

"Well, we have made it to Vizag, not really the way we intended to make it. We did not have enough wins, but we got there with a very healthy net run rate. Certainly, an important part of the tournament as we all know that the net run- rate can have an effect, whether it be falling into the fourth position or falling into the second position. But, we have made it into the fourth position and we are looking forward to that opportunity of playing against Delhi Capitals."

At the same time, the former Australian World Cup-winning all-rounder also hailed Delhi Capitals by saying that the Shreyas Iyer-led side has played well throughout the tournament. Moody then added that even though, the Capitals are a tough opposition, they were well prepared.

Looking back at their hot and cold season, the 53-year-old said that they have put aside their ups and downs of this season and that they have also played some good cricket. He also admitted that the 'Orange Army' missed out on a lot of opportunities where they should have won their games. Nonetheless, he said that they had learned their lessons and now it was a new chapter for the Sunrisers in the playoffs.

"We are looking forward to getting all three departments of our game together. Batting well, bowling well and fielding well. So we feel refreshed and we are looking forward to the chance of taking them (Delhi Capitals) on in the Eliminator."
