When it comes to fitness, Team India Captain Virat Kohli is cuts no corners. In his latest fitness drill, Kohli shared a powerlifting exercise video.
Kohli took to social media and shared a clip from his workout routine. In his tweet, he stated that it is imperative for people to get the technique right before they go ahead and lift the weight. He also added that he has been doing the power lift exercise for the past three years and consistently been at it. The video shows Kohli performing the powerlifting exercise in July 2016 and also in July 2019. The exercise involves the athlete attempting a maximal weight single lift of a barbell loaded with weight plates. The person who is engaging in powerlifting is also required to squat as the person holds the weight on shoulders.
