When it comes to fitness, Team India Captain Virat Kohli is cuts no corners. In his latest fitness drill, Kohli shared a powerlifting exercise video. 

Kohli took to social media and shared a clip from his workout routine. In his tweet, he stated that it is imperative for people to get the technique right before they go ahead and lift the weight. He also added that he has been doing the power lift exercise for the past three years and consistently been at it. The captain also urged people to be patient as they learn new things pertaining to fitness. Here's his tweet:

The video shows Kohli performing the powerlifting exercise in July 2016 and also in July 2019. The exercise involves the athlete attempting a maximal weight single lift of a barbell loaded with weight plates. The person who is engaging in powerlifting is also required to squat as the person holds the weight on shoulders. Meanwhile, fans and fitness freaks reacted to Kohli's dedication when it comes to workout. Here are some reactions:

Meanwhile, Basu Shanker, the fitness trainer for the Indian Cricket Team has said that Virat Kohli hardly has any cheat days. He also said that Kohli inspires people:

"His cheat days come once in a blue moon, I have not seen him take one in the last two years. I am telling you that fellow is a freak. There will be months together he would go on and I would force him to take rest." said

"When you see someone like him, it is difficult not to be inspired," added Basu.
