Cristiano Ronaldo, the Juventus F.C. striker and five-time Ballon d'Or winner, is considered the best footballer in the world by his massive fan base. Ronaldo has been an inspiration to many sports personalities and Bangladesh's opening batsman and part-time bowler Soumya Sarkar proved he is one of them in his team's World Cup 2019 clash with Australia at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham on Thursday. Sarkar who was the top performing bowler for Bangladesh recorded figures of three for 58. He got the crucial wickets of David Warner, Finch and Usman Khawaja. Sarkar was elated when he took just the second wicket of his career, but it was a big one. Sarkar celebrated in the signature Cristiano Ronaldo style after getting the crucial wicket of the Australian skipper Aaron Finch who was looking in fine touch and was playing for 53 off 51 balls in the 21 over. Soumya Sarkar's celebration was, however, did not match the original posture. Sarkar was poles apart in height and posture that Cristiano Ronaldo creates while celebrating in his signature style.

Sarkar's brilliant bowling performance went in vain as the Bangladeshi batsmen couldn't chase the mammoth of a target (382) set by the Australians and lost the match by 48 runs. After the match, Bangladesh are fifth in the World Cup 2019 points table with five points from six matches and Australia lead the table with ten points in 6 matches.
