Kings XI Punjab will be looking to register their first home win as they host three-time IPL winners Mumbai Indians at the IS Bindra Stadium on Saturday. Punjab won the toss and invited MI to bat first. Mumbai were off to a brisk start as captain Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock put on a 51 run stand. However, it was Murugan Ashwin who kept MI's scoring rate in check. He also scalped two Mumbai's main batsmen Suryakumar Yadav (11) and the dangerous looking Yuvraj Singh (18).
Twitterati hailed the young leg-spinner for his impressive bowling performance.
Murugan Ashwin was the pick of the bowlers for Punjab as he picked up two wickets by giving away 25 runs in his four overs at an economy of 6.25.
