Sunrisers Hyderabad kept their playoff hopes alive after getting the better of Kings XI Punjab by 45 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Monday. This win has helped the 'Orange Army' in bringing their campaign back on track as they have now jumped to the fourth spot in the points table by registering six wins with 12 points. There were a lot of memorable moments in this match as well. These moments included David Warner's match-winning blistering knock in his final IPL game of this season which was followed by his emotional farewell speech. Then Punjab skipper Ravichandran Ashwin almost pulled off a stunning catch only to let the ball slip away at the last moment. However, apart from all these moments, there was also a special moment which also one of the standout moments and which was a hilarious one as well and it involved none other than the 'Universe Boss' Chris Gayle himself. 

While fielding during the first innings, the West Indian explosive opening batsman decided to have some fan as he chased the spider cam. While doing so, he made some funny expressions as well which enthralled one and all.

The Jamaican all-rounder would also score a self-goal later in the innings by gifting away four runs to SRH on the field. Here' the video of him scoring an own-goal on the field.

Gayle also failed with the bat during Punjab's huge run chase of 213 as he could only manage to four runs. Only KL Rahul made an impression with the bat as he scored a 56-ball 79.

Earlier, Kings XI Punjab skipper Ravichandran Ashwin won the toss and asked SRH to bat first. Openers David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha added 78 runs for the opening partnership. Warner who was playing his final IPL game of this season played a match-winning knock of a 56-ball 81 which took Hyderabad to a huge total of 212/6 in their 20 overs.
