Virat Kohli has once again made his bat do the talking in the longest format of the game. Kohli, who was back in Test colours could not make much of an impact in the Caribbean as he could only manage a half-century which was followed by a duck in the second of the two-match Test series as a result of which he was dethroned from the top spot by Steve Smith. The Indian skipper will be hoping to make amends in the home series to get back on top and it seems that he means business in the ongoing series against South Africa where he scored an outstanding double century against South Africa in Pune.

Kohli: India's most successful Test Captain

In August this year, Kohli surpassed Dhoni to become the most successful Indian Test captain. Earlier, Kohli had registered his 26th Test century and became the first Indian to score 40 international centuries as a captain. He is now second in the list of players who have slammed most number of tons as captain. The list is topped former Australian captain Ricky Ponting who has the most international hundreds as a captain. Ponting had 41 centuries as the captain for Australia in international cricket.
