Virat Kohli is one of India's greatest-ever batsman and for good reason. With 21,000 International runs, the 31-year-old has adapted beautifully to every format that he has played to become a dynamic batsman. Also called the "Chase Master", Kohli's calculative chasing ability in limited-overs cricket is something very few possess. On the occasion of his birthday, let us take a look at his top five highest T20I scores.

5. 78* vs Pakistan, ICC World T20 2012

In this low-scoring encounter, Pakistan batted first and could only put 128 runs on the board. India made little work of the chase as they finished the match in only 17 overs led by Virat Kohli's unbeaten 78 of 61 balls. His inning consisted of 8 fours and 2 sixes.

4. 82 vs Sri Lanka, India tour of Sri Lanka 2017

After Virat Kohli won the toss at Colombo, he put the Sri Lankans in to bat. Led by Dilshan Munaweera's 53, Sri Lanka posted a competitive 170 for India to chase. Virat rose to the occasion and scored 82 runs in 54 balls to help India get home. His innings had 7 fours and a lone six.

3. 82* vs Australia, ICC World T20 2016

After Steve Smith won the toss and chose to bat first, Australia posted a decent 160 on the board at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. It took India only 19.1 overs to get to the target led by the Chase Master Virat Kohli who remained unbeaten on 82 to see India through. Kohli hit 9 fours and 2 sixes in this match.

2. 89* vs West Indies, ICC World T20 2016 Semi-finals

This was Kohli's last inning in his magical 2016 WT20 campaign. Darren Sammy won the toss and made the Indians bat first at the Wankhede. India posted a very competitive total of 192 runs led by Kohli's unbeaten 89 consisting of 11 fours and a single six. The total did not prove challenging enough as the West Indies chased the total down and proceeded to win the T20 World Cup for a second time.

1. 90* vs Australia, India tour of Australia 2016

This was the beginning of Kohli's spectacular 2016. Aaron Finch won the toss and made the Indians bat first at Adelaide. Virat Kohli led the innings from the front with an unbeaten 90 with 9 fours and 2 sixes, helping India get to 188. Australia could only make 151 before running out of wickets and Virat Kohli was the player-of-the-match in this victory.
