Virender Sehwag who considered one of the most destructive Indian openers that the cricketing world has seen, has continued to entertain his fans even after his retirement. The swashbuckling batsman is known to not hold back when it comes to voicing his opinion over a trending topic, and this time out the former Indian opening batsman was at it again.

The 'Nawab of Najafgarh', as he is fondly referred as, is an active presence on Twitter and has become one of the most sought-after accounts on the micro-blogging website with his hilarious and witty take on things.

A couple of days back when India lost the first T20 against Australia, Sehwag stated that India fell short of the target because 'GST was added' to Australia's score. His hilarious message on Twitter read, "India scoring more than Australia yet losing. Australia ke score par laga GST bhaari pad gaya. But a good thrilling game to start the series. #AUSvIND"

Now again, Virender Sehwag has come up with another of his gems with the England cricket team. The 40-year-old shared his thoughts about three players with rhyming names in world cricket and interestingly they all belonged to the England cricket team.

Those names were Chris Woakes, Ben Stokes and Ben Foakes. However, the former Indian cricketer hopes that someday that these players could play together in one team, although not primarily for a cricketing reason.

Here's the tweet:  “If England had picked Woakes, would have been nice to see Stokes, Foakes, Woakes. Looking forward to the day when these 3 play together #EngvSL,”

Chris Woakes and Ben Stokes have already established a name for themselves in the England cricketing arena, however, Ben Foakes has only recently made his debut for the Three Lions. While Ben Foakes and Ben Stokes were in the lineup for the third Test against Sri Lanka, Chris Woakes failed to make the cut in the playing XI.

England has already clinched the three-match series with a 2-0 lead. In the ongoing match, England skipper Joe Root stole the limelight after winning the toss for the straight eight time. Indian spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin decided to take a hilarious jibe at the England skipper.

“Annnndddd Joe Root wins his 8th toss in a row, yes England have played some awesome cricket, but such a winning streak with the toss is incredible. Dear match referees please check the coins you dish out #EngvSL,” Ashwin tweeted.
