Virender Sehwag wishes Birthday boy Virat Kohli in his own special style, hopes 'On Dhanteras, his year becomes Runteras'

Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Monday bid good bye to his 20s and celebrated his 30th birthday. The dynamic and swashbuckling right-handed batsman is arguably the best batsman in the world at the present time, and all the batting records are looking under threat the way in which he is playing.

On the occasion of his birthday, the whole country poured wishes for Kohli, right from his wife Anuska Sharma to his teammates, former teammates, opponents, experts and fans. But one wish which stood out the most was that of former Indian opener Virender Sehwag.

The 'Nawab of Najafgarh' is known for his extraordinary birthday wishes, and he continued on his trend. His message on Twitter read, "On this Dhanteras, wish you a year that is again filled with Runteras."

Sehwag had a similar cryptic message for Kohli when the latter became the fastest player to 10,000 ODI runs, overtaking Sachin Tendulkar to the feat. Back then, the Nawab of Najafgarh had tweeted, 

"Software update all the time. Virat Kohli has redefined what consistency means. Got his 9000th odi run just 11 innings ago and got his 10000 th today, to go with his 37th century. Enjoy the phenomena #KingKohli"

As mentioned earlier, this isn't the first occasion when Sehwag has mesmerized his followers with his quirky and interesting birthday wishes. In October, when former Indian skipper and leg-spin great Anil Kumble celebrated his 48th birthday, Sehwag came up with a very interesting wish.

"Happiest birthday to one of India’s greatest ever match winners, a man who defined grit and courage. Those toe-crushing yorkers to tail-enders are something even pace bowlers struggle to execute. Have a great & jumbo life ahead @anilkumble1074 bhai !," his tweet read.
