Royal Challengers Bangalore will be looking to register their maiden win of this season and add the first two points in their tally as they face Kings XI Punjab at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium on Saturday. Kings XI Punjab, on the other hand, are yet to taste defeat at home.

However, there was one such incident which stood out when the two teams took to the field. It was the brotherly love between India's wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and the big West Indian superstar Chris Gayle. The duo was seen having a lot of fun in the middle and shared a lot of laughter and smiles as well. While Chahal was bowling the seventh over, he was seen joking with the explosive West Indian opening batsman who could not control his laughter.

Then it was Gayle's turn to return the favour. Once the Caribbean power-hitting batsman completed his half-century, he raised his bat at the non-striker's end before going ahead to share a hug with Chahal to complete the bromance.

Here's the video of the same.

Both Gayle and Chahal have been good friends for many years. The two were team-mates at one point of time when Gayle used to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore. Gayle was associated with RCB till the 2017 season. He was then released by the franchise and was roped in by Kings XI Punjab last year.

The West Indian all-rounder has had a good season so far. He has already scored 322 runs in seven games at a strike rate of 157.07 including three half-centuries. In this season, he also became the fastest batsman to score 4000 runs in IPL history and then went on to become the first batsman to hit 300 sixes in the tournament's history.

The 'Universe Boss' was once again outstanding with the bat as he first stitched in a 66-run opening stand with KL Rahul. He narrowly missed out on a well-deserved century, but he scored a splendid 64-ball unbeaten 99 which helped Kings XI Punjab post a competitive score of 173/4 in their 20 overs.
