There were a lot of standout moments in the Eliminator between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals at the  ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium on Wednesday. It all started before the match i.e. during the toss when DC skipper Shreyas Iyer flipped the coin even before Sanjay Manjrekar introduced the two captains and the match referee which left everyone in splits. Then there was a dramatic incident in the first ball of the match where Trent Boult almost got the wicket of Wriddhiman Saha but the decision went in his favour after he took a DRS and replays showed that he had got an inside edge which was followed by Shreyas Iyer's almost spectacular catch at the boundary where he, unfortunately, flipped the ball inside the boundary.

However, the biggest incident unfolded in the final over of SRH's innings and it involved Keemo Paul and Deepak Hooda. It happened in the penultimate ball of the Orange Army's innings. On the fifth delivery, Hooda bowled a wide delivery which was a bit outside the off stump. Hooda tried to go for a big slog but ended up missing the ball completely. Hooda then attempted to go for a single but young wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant showed a good presence of mind behind the stumps as he collected the ball and threw it at the non-striker's end. He hit the bull's eye and Hooda was short of his ground. But, the umpires were not convinced and had a discussion with each other as Keemo Paul had come in Hooda's way while he was running to the other end. Paul's obstruction resulted in the SRH batsman losing his wicket.

The umpire then had a chat with DC skipper Shreyas Iyer about what had happened despite the batsman being given out. Nonetheless, Pant believed that it was out and was seen explaining everything to Iyer. Iyer had allowed the batsman to continue but Pant intervened to tell that the batsman was clearly out. After a lot of discussions, the decision went against Hooda and he walked back to the dugout.

Hilarious: 'That doesn't count right?,' asks Sanjay Manjrekar after DC skipper Shreyas Iyer did something strange during the toss against SRH
