India defeated New Zealand by 35 runs in the fifth and final one day international against New Zealand to clinch the 5-ODI series 4-1 at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington on Sunday.

India defeated New Zealand by 35 runs in the fifth and final one day international against New Zealand to clinch the 5-ODI series 4-1 at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington on Sunday.

It was quite definite that the spirits were high in the Indian camp as the team clinched the five-match One-Day International series. The Indian team celebrated the massive victory with the war cry from Vicky Kaushal starring 'Uri: The surgical strike'. 

After the award ceremony, the Indian cricket team asked one important quesiton - "How's the josh?" and  "High Sir!" came the thumping reply.

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal replied to BCCI's tweet, and praised the 'Men in Blue' for their historic win against the Kiwis. In the tweet Vicky Kaushal wrote, "Our Indian cricket team always gets the JOSH of the nation super high and make us all proud".

Defending a total of 252 runs, Indian bowlers finished the match in the 45th over as they bundlef out the entire New Zealand team for 217 runs.

Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal picked up a three-wicket haul to put the team in a commanding position. While pacer Mohammed Shami and all-rounder picked up two wickets each, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Kedar Jadhav contributed with one wicket each in the match. Ambati Rayadu also stood upto the occasion and palyed a match-definning inning of 90 runs to take his team to a respectable total.
