  • Chennai Super Kings beat Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets on Tuesday
  • MS Dhoni's faster than light stumping was one of the highlight of the day
  • Imran Tahir had already started celebrating even before Dhoni could stump Shubman Gill out

Chennai Super Kings are the team to watch out as they won their fifth game of the season comfortably against Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Tuesday. While there were many moments which gave the viewers an enthralling experience like Ravindra Jadeja's sprint and leap to save a six and Piyush Chawla's rolling catch to dismiss Suresh Raina, there was yet another incident which was a standout. This moment featured South Africa's leg-spinner Imran Tahir and CSK skipper MS Dhoni.

See It To Believe It: MS Dhoni stumps KKR's Shubman Gill faster than the speed of light, stuns Shah Rukh Khan

The incident happened in the 10th over which Tahir had bowled and young Shubman Gill was on strike. He bowled a straight delivery which Gill missed. The ball went straight into Dhoni's safe pair of gloves after which the skipper dislodged the bails instantly. However, the best part about this stumping was that Tahir had started celebrating as soon as he saw Dhoni collect the ball. This reflected Tahir's confidence in his skipper's outstanding work behind the stumps.

In a video that is going viral, Gill can be seen moving away from from the crease as Mahindra Singh Dhoni grasps the ball from the blind corner. Even as the U-19 World Cup tried all he could to bring his leg on the crease line, the lightning fast Dhoni had already stumped him out.

The video of this viral moment was shared on Twitter:

Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bowl first. It turned out to be a good decision as the visitors lost wickets at regular intervals. The hard-hitting opening batsman Chris Lynn was dismissed in the very first over by Deepak Chahhar and Sunil Narine followed him in the next over. Andre Russell played a stellar knock off by scoring an unbeaten 44-ball 50 to take KKR to a respectable total of 108/9 in their 20 overs.

In reply, CSK got to the target in the 18th over. Opener Faf du Plessis anchored CSK's run chase with an unbeaten 45-ball 43.
