It was a nail-biting finish as Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings by 1 run to win their record fourth IPL crown at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday. By the virtue of this win, Mumbai Indians are now the most successful team in IPL with the maximum number of title wins. It was an edge of the seat thriller which went all the way down to the wire and in the end, Lasith Malinga kept his nerves and took Mumbai over the finish line with some disciplined bowling performance where he successfully defended nine runs and emerged as a hero of Mumbai's triumph.
However, the real hero of this triumph was Team India's most premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah who bowled an economical spell and kept CSK' s run rate in check. Bumrah picked up two crucial wickets and gave away just 14 runs in his four overs at an economy of 3.50. His tight bowling ensured that Mumbai were still in the game. After MI's triumph, Mumbai Indians batting mentor Sachin Tendulkar and the new recruit of MI this season, Yuvraj Singh were full of praises for the young speedster. Yuvi felt that Bumrah was bowling the best that the southpaw had ever seen in the youngster's career. This is what the Master Blaster had to say about the 25-year old.
"Well without any doubt, let me go on record and say that he (Bumrah) is the best bowler in the world at this stage."
"Absolutely. Totally agree with you", replied Yuvraj.
At the same time, the Little Master also hoped that Bumrah's best was yet to come.

Even the fans had their say over Bumrah on social media.
India will look to Bumrah to replicate his IPL form in the World Cup which begins on May 30.
