WATCH: It can't get more comical than this mix-up between Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis

Both Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings will be looking to seal a final berth when they lock horns in the 2nd Qualifier at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium on Friday.  Just like the other games, even this game had a lot of memorable moments. These moments included a vociferous reception from the Vizag crowd when MS Dhoni won the toss. Dhoni also had a couple more moments when he got the DRS right and took a spectacular catch behind the stumps to dismiss a well-set Shikhar Dhawan. However, the standout moments did not end in the first innings as it continued in the second innings a well.

In fact, it was a bizarre incident which happened in the very first over of CSK's run chase. On the third delivery, which was bowled by Trent Boult, Faf du Plessis slashed it to Axar Patel at point and set off for a quick single. It was a non-existent single and both the batsmen were involved in a comical mix-up. Patel threw it to the bowler's end, but unfortunately, there was no one to back it up. Nonetheless, due to a mix-up between both the opening batsmen, there was another opportunity for a wicket at the striker's end, and Colin Munro did the right thing when he collected the ball and threw it to the keeper. But, his throw was so quick that it went past a diving Rishabh Pant and almost appeared to go to the boundary. Nevertheless, Ishant Sharma backed it up. The CSK openers only ran a single as Delhi Capitals players including Axar, Munro, Pant were gutted after what had just happened. Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer tried to hide his frustration by having a laugh.
