  • A 5-year-old boy from Pakistan has tried to copy the bowling action of Jasprit Bumrah
  • On his bowling run-up, before delivering, Bumrah's left hand goes straight at 90 degree

Ever since Jasprit Bumrah got his career started on the international arena in 2016, he has barely put a foot wrong. From being a work in progress to the next big thing to becoming the No.1 bowler, Bumrah has grown leaps in a mere two years.

His ability to hit the good length along with his pace has been tough for batsmen across the world to deal with. And the trouble for batters come due to his uncanny bowling action, which is funny to watch, but as lethal as it gets.

On his bowling run-up, before delivering, Bumrah's left hand goes straight at 90 degree. The action is one which not many batsmen have faced in the past, and hence, they find it tough to face.

And now, it seems, his bowling action has become famous across the world, with cricket enthusiasts trying to copy it. In a recent video going viral on social media, a 5-year-old kid from Pakistan could be trying to copy his style.

Bumrah, upon realizing that his bowling action is being copied, remembered his younger days, when he used to do the same. Replying to the video, he posted a message on Twitter which read,

"As a kid, I remember how I used to copy the actions of my cricketing heroes. It’s a wonderful feeling to see kids copying my action today."

Ever since making his debut in 2016, Bumrah hasn't looked back, and achieved everything across all the formats. In 41 ODIs, he has already amassed 72 wickets, while in 35 T20Is, he has 43 wickets. His fledging Test career, which started earlier this year, has seen him pick 28 wickets in six matches.
